CMS for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Canada
Team in Training (TNT) Canada is the world's largest and most successful endurance sports training program for charity, raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Canada.TNT Canada needed to redesign TNT Canada CMS website using Drupal 7.
We built the bilingual website on Apache, PHP and MySQL using the Drupal content management system.
Solution
TNT Canada is a part of the Leukemia &Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC). TNT is the world's largest endurance sports training program, preparing people of all athletic abilities. In return for professional training and travel to one of many national event sites, participants raise valuable funds to support the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).
The LLSC is Canada's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to blood cancer and their mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLSC funds lifesaving blood cancer research across Canada and provides free information and support services.
TNT Canada desired to redesign TNT Canada CMS using Drupal 7 and integrate existing applications and Database to fetch Events Data etc. from central DB.We built the new web based application on Apache, PHP and MySQL using the Drupal content management system. The complete website is bilingual, operating system independent and accessible with any standard compliant browser. Communication of data is through APIs or Web services in XML and then Drupal manages the data. All the content entry and storage operations are administered by one admin area.
Content Approval Workflows, Search Engine Compliance, Integration with Video Ad Networks, YouTube and Role based Security features for robust and advanced content delivery to end users. It facilitates to manage custom content blocks, special pages, photo gallery, comments, blogs, events and newsletters. It also supports Social Bookmarking feature to share, save, email and bookmark stories using Facebook and Twitter.
Optimization
